Gröf is a two storey farmhouse. On the main floor, there are five bedrooms, a large sitting room and a kitchen. From the sitting room there is a great view downhill over the fields, where the horses are kept, south to the beach and the sea. In the other direction to the mountains and Snæfellsjokull glacier.
Gröf is a comfortable, modern home with wireless network, large tv, and a moderate selection of books in English and
German.
From the kitchen you can walk straight out on the veranda. There is a hot tub and there the lady of the house grows her vegetables and herbs in old long line bins.
We are proud to supply local produce, fresh meat and fish from the area and greens from the garden.
And Thor, the god of thunder, watches over the farm!
Downstairs there is a small flat where the family stay. This allows us to be always within reach while at the same time respecting our guests‘ privacy.
